Great experience as a patient. Very personable staff and they took the time to attend to my specific needs. I had back pain for a while and went to a chiropractor, who couldn’t help. I came to InMotion and within my first 2 weeks, Jason was able to diagnose and resolve my back pain!
I just finished a PT program at InMotion and I wanted to share some feedback.
I recently sustained a fairly severe foot/ankle injury while running. The pain was so great that I could barely walk. Despite my requests for pain killers, my doctor prescribed only physical therapy. I had recently moved to the area and didn’t know where to turn so I chose InMotion because of the convenient location and hoped for the best.
I am no stranger to physical therapy since I played ice hockey on and off for 26 years. Over that time I have seen probably more than two dozen different physical therapy and sports medicine specialists for injuries to almost every body part. I was anxious about this latest injury because it impacted my mobility so much and I’ve had very bad experiences with physical therapists in recent years.
I am very lucky to have made a great choice.
Elizabeth Fish is by far the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. Her analysis of my injury was excellent and she helped me regain most of my mobility in the first few visits. Over two months, Elizabeth continued to impress me with her attention to detail, professionalism and stamina as she often worked with several patients simultaneously. At no point did I fee like I wasn’t getting enough personal attention. In fact, my therapy was the most personalized and effective I’ve ever received.
Elizabeth’s consistent positive attitude and focus were the keys to my morale and my successful treatment. She even worked with my insurance company to make sure I was getting as much care as possible. It was clear she was going above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciated it.
Yesterday was my last visit and I’m pleased to say that I’m fully recovered. I will definitely be recommending Elizabeth Fish and InMotion to my friends and family.
Please keep up the good work and give Elizabeth and the rest of your staff my thanks.
In the beginning of May, I began to have knee pain. On the weekend of May 17th. I had to stop during a training run because the pain was so bad. On May 20th, I emailed Dr. Meyer (Christine Meyer, MD and Associates) in a panic. I thought my race season was over. That same day Dr. Meyer replied and sent me to see Kristy Harper at (In Motion Physical Therapy and Fitness Center). I saw Kristy on Thursday, May 22nd. Ten days later I raced in the Black Bear Triathlon and finished. Today, as I write this, I feel confident in my ability to complete and be competitive in my first Ironman 70.3. This is undoubtedly a result of the fast action of Dr. Meyer and the magical hands of Kristy Harper. This isn’t the first time the pair has worked together to get me back into ‘fighting shape’ but they certainly earned a lifetime of loyalty and a vocal advocate for their services, which are second to none.

Amanda was amazing. No rote menus for this group. Personalized care and good understanding of the root issues. Staff very friendly.
Kristy has been sensational helping my wife through 2 Achilles’ tendons tears as well as PT on joint replacement in her feet. Not only the physical therapy but the emotional feelings that accompany it. I highly recommend Inmotion to whoever needs rehab.
I started In Motion because of a problem with my knee and hips. Kristy took the time to do a very thorough exam and could tell me what the plan was to get me pain-free soon. I could get my appointments planned in a way that also works with my schedule and I could plan ahead for a few weeks, which makes it very easy to plan my own work schedule. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help, they know all their patients by name an greet them very friendly and welcoming.
I would highly recommend @InMotion PT to anyone who needs this. My doctor at the Orthopedic clinic highly recommended In Motion to me and I’m glad she did! What is very important to me personally, is that In Motion is very involved in all kinds of charity activities in our community and it shows to me that Brock and Kristy care very much about people in our area.
I will forever be thankful to Kristy and the staff at In Motion for getting me back to dancing after an intense hip injury. Kristy not only helped me physically but she also emotionally as she was such a great support system to have while overcoming an injury. Kristy has a contagious positive attitude and she was so great to incorporate dance elements into my exercises to make them more beneficial specifically to me and also a little more enjoyable. I always felt safe and welcomed by the In Motion staff and they were always focused on helping me improve and get back to my normal self! I don’t know where I would be today without Kristy and the other amazing trainers at In Motion!
My husband and I have used In Motion many times over the years due to various physical problems and injury. In Motion treated me for knee replacement and did it in a very effective and professional manner. (My surgeon highly recommends In Motion.) The staff are all very well trained respectful and every patient is treated for their specific physical problem. This is not a “one size fits all” physical therapy facility. We drive 45 minutes to get there because we would not consider going anywhere else.
I refer many patients to In Motion because they consistently provide excellent care, great communication, and get my patients in quickly. I appreciate having such outstanding service available right down the street.
I live an active life. My wife and i both work and have varied and busy work schedules, she is an avid runner and loves yoga too, we have two young children, and me well i have a love of cycling, kayaking, hiking and gardening.
In 2013 I rode more than 2,000-miles on the bike and successfully trained and completed my first Century Bike Ride. In the process, I rode 3-4 times a week from April-August, including local rides like the French & Pickering Creek Iron Tour Ride, and Chester Co. Challenge Ride for Cancer, etc., and then a 102.5-mile JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes last July in Vermont.
In the Fall of 2013, I almost was roadkill by someone driving on the wrong side of the road. I suffered from a hard crash to the ground and injuries to my hip and shoulder.
Kristy and all the folks at In-Motion Physical Therapy were there to assist in getting me back on my feet, and back on my bike. They worked with me to professionally assess and develop an action plan to help me start to heal and gain mobility back.
In-Motion are a great group of folks very much focused on working their hardest to get you back to yourself whatever life throws at you. 🙂
